Ocean Park
Opened in 1977 by the Governor of the city, Ocean Park is a marine mammal park, oceanarium and amusement park all, in one package. It is situated on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, between Aberdeen and Repulse Bay, and occupies approximately two hundred acres on the hills and the shore. The park is one of the top marine parks in Southeast Asia and serves as the biggest attraction to most visitors. It's a very nice place if you visit Hong Kong with kids. Visiting various attractions of the park, it's possible to spend in it all the day. Also, the park comprises a wide selection of restaurants, cafes as well as souvenir shops.
Ocean Park Hong Kong is divided into two main zones: the waterfront and the summit. Visitors can travel between zones by the Cable Car or Ocean Express. The Cable Car is a great way to travel between the waterfront and summit. It offers spectacular views of the surrounding areas. The Ocean Express is another way to travel to the summit or vice-versa.
