"Do I need a visa for Hong Kong?"
Nationals of more than 170 countries and territories may visit Hong Kong visa-free for a period ranging from 7 days to 180 days.

Visa Free:
1. Nationals of U.K don’t require a visa to enter Hong Kong for stays of up to 180 days.
2. Nationals of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, Cyprus, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zeland, Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, BVI, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay don’t require a visa to enter Hong Kong for stays of up to 90 days.
3. Nationals of Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Thailand, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Anited Arab Emirates and South Africa don’t require a visa to enter Hong Kong for stays of up to 30 days.
4. Nationals of India, Vatican City, Croatia, Macedonia, Haiti, Mongolia, Philippines, Algeria, Central African Republic, Chad, Mali don’t require a visa to enter Hong Kong for stays of up to 14 days.
Requirements:
1. Passport valid for at least six months after the period of intended visit required by all nationals.
2. A return ticket to visit the city.
3. All visitors must show evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay.
An extension of stay may be granted upon application to the Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department.
Visas are required to work or study in Hong Kong.

Visa Required:

Nationals of Russian Federation, exUSSR countries (except Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia), Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Montenegro, Serbia, Panama, Cuba, Libya, Iran, Syria, Albania require a visa to visit Hong Kong.

Application for Hong Kong Visa.
1. a. Applicant should complete application form (ID 1003A). The sponsor should complete application form (ID 1003B).
b. The nomination of a local sponsor will assist the Immigration Department in processing the application. A local sponsor can either be a company or an individual.
c. All the forms must be duly completed and signed. Completed application forms, i.e. ID 1003A and ID 1003B, and all supporting documents should be submitted to:
Receipt and Despatch Unit,
Hong Kong Immigration Department,
2/F, Immigration Tower,
7 Gloucester Road,
Wan Chai, Hong Kong
either by post directly or through the local sponsor.
d. To shorten the processing time, application forms and supporting documents can be sent by fax to (852) 2824 1133 in the first instance. However, the original copy of the duly completed application forms and the photograph required should be sent immediately to the Hong Kong Immigration Department by air mail. A visa/entry permit will be issued only on receipt of original, properly completed visa application forms.
2. Applicants may submit their visa applications through the Chinese diplomatic and consular missions nearest to their place of residence, where application forms are obtainable.
