Hong Kong has a number of street markets, also known as open-air or outdoor markets, that offer various items at bargain prices, such as clothes, souvenirs, cell phone accessories, toys, bags, etc. Also, there are several themed streets that offer one type of goods. These are not only the places where you can buy cheap items, but also major tourist attractions where people can get a lot of fun.

Useful Tips1. As other outdoor markets around the world, Hong Kong markets are excellent places to try your bargaining skills. Most vendors will accept about a half or even more of the original asking price. Walk away if you don't get the price you want, you can find another vendor that will have the same thing. 2. Brand items are usually fakes.
