Kowloon Park

If you are looking for a place to relax from hustle and bustle of the city or play with kids then Kowloon Park is the destination. It's located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui on a piece of land covering an area of about 13,5 hectares, and is one of the largest parks in Kowloon. The Kowloon Park was officially opened in 1970 by the Governor, Sir David Trench, and redeveloped in 1989. It features beautiful gardens, trees, birds, playgrounds and walkways, and offers a full range of leisure and recreation facilities to its guests. There are plenty of outdoor facilities, such as Mini-Soccer Pitch where you can take your kids and watch a soccer match in the field. The Bird Lake is a nice place to watch different varieties of birds without any charges. You can also relax with your family or a friend at the famous Chinese gardens, Maze garden or Roof gardens and enjoy the ambience and a cool breeze. The park will also offer maximum safety to your children especially when they play at the Children's Playground. The available indoor facilities include a swimming pool and sports centre.
